It has been SO long since I've participated in Five Question Friday, but since I'm hoping to be posting more regularly, I figured this is a good way to keep me going!  As you likely know, FQF is usually hosted by Mama M , but since she's enjoying some time away right now, you can hop over to Kate's blog and join the party there! 1. In fact, it drives me crazy when people (especially my mom, bless her heart!) refers to them as thongs.  In my mind, thongs are underwear, not something you wear on your feet!  Sandals are usually bigger, often involving straps that go around your feet or ankles.  Slippers are soft and fuzzy and are worn around the house. 2. I would have to say it's a tie.  I love this crazy snowman that we always hang on the hook by our door.  It's cute as pie (is pie even cute?!) and a little bit mismatched and odd, too!  One of it's legs hangs longer than the other, and it rarely ever hangs exactly straight.  I think that's what I like so much about it! The other one that I really love is not really a decoration by us, but it is the assortment of Christmas cards that we hang on our kitchen cabinets (note that I didn't say "cupboards", honey?!).  I love receiving Christmas cards from people and seeing how much ...

1.  Favorite gift you are GIVING this year? Ironically enough, I have yet to do ANY Christmas shopping, so I really can't answer this question!  Monte and I have decided that we are going to scale back on Christmas presents this year and only get a couple of things for each of our kids.  We're going to focus far more on the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus.  We want our kids to first celebrate that - then enjoy giving gifts! 2. How many parties are you attending between now and Christmas? This is my first time participating in this blog hop! Thanks to Mama M for creating it! 1. What celebrity have you been told you look like? I really don't think that I've been told that I look like a celebrity since I was younger when everybody thought I looked like Jody Sweetin (you know, the girl who played Stephanie on "Full House"). Now, I just look like me! :) 2. What is your all time favorite movie, any special reason why? Truth be told, my favorite movie is "Beauty and the Beast". I know, kinda cheesy that I like a kids' movie, but lets face it, it's a great love story about how the love of one person can win over the bitterness of even the most angry and resentful beast. I love it :) 3. Since we're talkin' movies...Popcorn: overrated, underrated, or 'bout right? All I can say on the popcorn is YES PLEASE!
